Job Description

We are looking for someone with several years of experience as a technical writer, who is accustomed to working in a topic-based manner and has skills in one or more XML editors.

At AFRY, you will become a permanent consultant, which means you will have the security of a stable employer – while also having the opportunity to work on varied assignments with many different clients. We collaborate with companies across several industries, giving you the chance to develop in areas such as:

• Defense industry
• Automotive industry
• Medical technology
• Consumer products from well-known brands

Examples of assignments we work on:

• Manuals
• Spare parts catalogs
• Facility documentation

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology and pedagogy – and who finds it easy to express themselves in writing in both Swedish and English.

You are structured, meticulous, and enjoy working in a team, but you also have a strong drive and the ability to independently find information to advance your work.

Above all, we are looking for a colleague who wants to contribute to a positive work environment where we share our knowledge, support each other, and value collaboration. Understanding the customer's needs and focusing on solving their challenges is an obvious part of our daily work.

We see that you have:

• Engineering degree/technical background
• Experience working in XML-based systems
• Familiarity with topic-based writing
• Good pedagogical skills
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience with STE (Simplified Technical English)
• Experience from the defense industry
• Knowledge of S1000D
